The Claim Your Crown Foundation is at the heart of the NOVUS brand, created to advance our purpose of inspiring people to claim their crown through living a life of passion, conviction, and perseverance.
Rooted in the promise of James 1:12, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial… they will receive the crown of life,” the CYC Foundation exists to support the people, communities, and causes that embody resilience, purpose, and hope.
Our vision is to create meaningful impact by funding initiatives that help individuals discover a deeper purpose for their lives, overcome adversity, and rise into who they were created to be.
One of the cornerstone initiatives supported by the CYC Foundation is the 1:12 Project, our annual mission experience in the Dominican Republic. Each year, athletes, students, and young professionals step outside their comfort zones to serve communities through sports, faith, and service, creating a transformational experience for both those we serve and those who attend.
Beyond the 1:12 Project, the Claim Your Crown Foundation supports philanthropic initiatives that align with the NOVUS purpose. In its early stages, proceeds have supported organizations and causes including the American Cancer Society, Double H Ranch, Dana-Farber, and the Jimmy Fund, and this year we are proud to support Blood Cancer United.
A key part of this mission is our annual CAT Tournament, one of our largest fundraising events of the year. This event brings together teams, athletes, and supporters to raise funds that directly fuel the work of the Foundation and the initiatives it supports.
As the Foundation grows, our hope is to continue expanding our reach to support more communities, organizations, and causes that inspire people to live with passion, conviction, and perseverance.
